Chenopodium betaceum Andrz. View in CoL (= C. striatum (Krašan) Murr ; – C. strictum auct. non Roth)
+ Al: Albania: Prefecture of Shkodër, Municipality of Velipojë, Velipojë, Alfons-Tracki-Street at St Nicholas church, 41°52'24"N, 19°23'57"E, 2 m, ruderal roadside, 26 Oct 2024, Raus 35189 (B). – There are no previously published records from Albania. The species is probably more widespread throughout the country in agricultural and ruderal habitats, in continuation of its ample distribution range in mainland Greece ( Strid 2024: 581, map 2322). It is a Eurosiberian species, introduced into North America, known under the misapplied name “ Chenopodium strictum ” in the past (for taxonomic and nomenclatural implications see Mosyakin 2017a; Mosyakin & Mandák 2020).
