Distribution. Native. Neotropical (Cocos Is.); Galápagos: Baltra, Caamaño, Fernandina, Floreana, Genovesa, Isabela, Marchena (ICCDRS), San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Santa Fé, Seymour.
Remarks. This species is confined to the littoral zone ( Bickel & Sinclair 1997).
