Distribution. Introduced. Nearctic, Neotropical; Galápagos: Fernandina, Floreana, Isabela, Santa Cruz, Santiago.
Remarks. Adults of this species were collected in the humid highlands of Santa Cruz. Larvae feed on numerous species of Poaceae ( Spencer 1973) .
