Distribution. Cryptogenic. Nearctic, Neotropical; Galápagos: Floreana, Isabela, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Santiago.
Remarks. Adults of this species were recorded from the arid to upper humid zones. Specimens have been frequently collected from dung ( Marshall 1985a).
