Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Darwin, Española (ICCDRS), Genovesa, Isabela, Rábida (ICCDRS) , Santa Cruz.
Remarks. Adults of this species were reared from larvae collected from leaf litter beneath Sesuvium in the littoral zone. Adults have been observed visiting flowers of Scalesia ( Boada 2005) .
