Type material. Holotype: male, MZUSP 12174 View Materials . Paratypes: 1 male, 1 female, MZUSP 12175 View Materials ; 1 male, 1 female, MNRJ 8572 View Materials ; 1 male, 1 female, IOUSP 232 View Materials .
Type locality. Antarctica, northeast of Joinville
Island, St. 4381 (62°48’S 54°20’W), 280 m depth.
Geographicdistribution.BransfieldStrait:northeastof Elephant,and Joinville Islands,and southwest of Smith Island, Antarctic Ocean ( Pires and Sumida, 1997).
Habitat. Found between 168–362 m depth in water temperature from -2.07 to 1.28 °C ( Pires and Sumida, 1997).
