TYPE MATERIAL EXAMINED

Tanzania: D.O. Africa, Pugu , leg. Methner: 1 ♀ holotype P. methneri . ( FMNH);. O. Africa, Pugu, leg. Methner: 2 ♀♀ type P. puguensis . ( FMNH) .

NON TYPE MATERIAL EXAMINED

Tanzania: Iringa prov. Mkimbizi mts , 8/II/2006, K. Angelus, soil under dead grass, J.F. Cornell Colln.: 1 ♂ ( FMNH) .

COMMENTS

FAGEL (1963) mentions this species from several other countries. I have not seen a ♂ that could confirm locations outside Tanzania, so it is uncertain if it is an endemic species for Tanzania or more widespread .
