13–14 mm, length of the forebody 6.5 mm. Coloration: body black with margin of tergite VIII and tergite IX dark reddish, abdomen slightly iridescent. Legs, palps, antennae and abdominal segment IX orange. Head with rather sparse macropunctation on the posterior part, not well visible due dense micropunctation. Micropunctation only slightly scarcer towards the anterior part, anterior part of the head with sparse macropunctation. Labrum with a small shallow median circular excision. Pronotum with the sides clearly convergent towards the base, about 2.2 mm wide and 2.3 mm long, macropunctation hardly recognizable due to dense micropunctation. Elytra about 2.5 mm wide and 2.9 mm long, punctation dense, with microsculpture. Wings well developed. Abdomen with fine microsculpture. Posterior margin of sternite VIII rounded, also in males.

Aedeagus 2.3 mm. Parameres only just apical the middle fused. The median lobe in form of tube, more open on the dorsal side (other side of the parameres), prolonged to a long pine on the ventral side (side of the parameres) and with a slender sclerite. Between the parameres and median lobe a strong sclerite with a hook on the ventral side just apical the fusion of the parameres.
