ETYMOLOGY

Dedicated to Frank-Thorsten Krell, one of the collectors of the type material.

DESCRIPTION

Aedeagus about 3.35 mm. Parameres after the base bent towards each other and (nearly) touching each other and then diverging again, tip rather pointed. Dorsal side of the median lobe only slightly curved. Tip of the median lobe flat and rounded-triangular. Keels before the tip sharp, lateral part of the median lobe near the keels broad. Basal protrusion curved, starting slightly directed towards the base ending with a right angle compared with the median lobe.

COMMENTS

Externally not distinguishable from P. senegalensis and P. ivoriensis . On average more rugose punctuated head, but this seems not reliable to separate the species. So for the external description: see P. ivoriensis .

At several locations, this species was collected together with P. senegalensis or P. ivoriensis . When two species are mixed, the females could not be identified.
