Estípulas homomorfas, frecuentemente con nectario. Inflorescencias sentadas o con pedúnculo corto, con 1-3(7) flores. Estandarte (6)10-33 mm. Quilla generalmente apiculada. Estilo deprimido, con un mechón de pelos en la cara carinal. Fruto sentado o estipitado, con tejido esponjoso entre las semillas ± desarrollado.
