1852. Chrysis pubescens Smith , The Annals and Magazine of Natural History, p. 45.
Female: Body length 9.6 mm. Forewing length 1.56 mm. OOL1.6 x MOD; POL 2.3 x MOD; MS 1.1 x MOD; relative length of P: F1: F2: F3= 1.0:1.7:1.0:1.0
Head: Frons with irregular contiguous punctures. Vertex and ocellar triangle with small punctures with polished interspaces. Weak TFC ( Figure 3C View Figure 3 ). Scapal basin rugulose and covered with white vestiture.
Mesosoma : Pronotum with weak medial pronotal line reaching almost 3/4 th length of pronotum. Punctures of pronotum with polished interspaces. Pronotum and mesonotum with equal-sized punctures of about 0.3 x MOD diameter. Notauli formed of small circular punctures with blue colour contrasting with the green colour of mesonotum. Blue reflections on the middle area of the mesonotum ( Figure 3A View Figure 3 ) with polished interspaces. The parapsidal signum is well-developed. Mesoscutellum with different-sized punctures from 0.3 x MOD to 0.5 x MOD diameter with broad polished interspaces. Metanotum with medium sized closely placed punctures. Metatarsomere I longer than II-IV together.
Metasoma: T1 with medium-sized punctures with small dots at interspaces. T2 with slightly smaller punctures with polished interspaces. T2 and T3 have a faint median carina ( Figures 3A, E View Figure 3 ). White-silvery vestiture is present on T2 and T3, especially on lateral and posterior margins. Pit row with 10 large foveae. Apical rim with four triangular teeth ( Figures 3E View Figure 3 ). S2 with large circular dark spots placed at 0.8 x MOD distant from each other positioned towards the upper half of S2 with one end merged with lateral sides ( Figure 3F View Figure 3 ).
Colouration: Body green with yellowish green reflection on mesoscutellum, T1 and T2. Blue reflection on metasomal teeth and middle area of mesonotum. Scape, pedicel and F1 metallic green, other flagellomeres black. Tegula green. Wings brown.
