Remarks.
This species exhibits sexual dimorphism, with both males and females displaying semi-translucent wing patterns. This characteristic suggests that it may engage in mimicry with glasswing Ithomiini butterflies ( Nymphalidae ), potentially forming mimetic rings. The available information is restricted to the original description and its inclusion in faunal survey lists.
