Distribution: Southern Europe from Spain to Turkey, North Africa ( Morocco to Egypt), Israel, Caucasus ( Warncke 1992) and Iran.
Biology. Southern species occurring in warm semidesert habitats. The hosts of this rare species are not well known. Blüthgen (1934) mentioned Lasioglossum aegyptiellum (Strand) and L. vagans (Smith) as likely hosts.
