Remarks. Hemilophus divus View in CoL was described based on a single specimen from Brazil. Chabrillac (1857) did not specify the sex of the holotype. Currently, it is known from Colombia, Brazil ( Mato Grosso, Goiás, Distrito Federal, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul), French Guiana, Bolivia ( Santa Cruz), Paraguay, and Argentina (Misiones) ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023).
