Material. Western Australia: holotype ♂, Kalgoorlie , 30°45'S, 121°28'E, March 1968, WAM 84 About WAM GoogleMaps /1145. Diagnosis. Males differ from those of P. metallica sp. nov. in the cymbium being strongly twisted apically, the paracymbial spine is large and conical on large conical base, the subtegular retrolateral indentation is deep, the embolic division has two large spirals, and the embolus tip is sinuous. Female unknown.

MAPS 79–84. Records of Australian species of Poecilipta Simon, 1897 and Ticopa gen. nov.

Etymology. In honour of Ms Wendy Rawlinson, Queensland Museum, whose late discovered goldmine (for which the type locality was long renowned) of arachnological and artistic abilities are matched only by her dedication to her job, however repetitive.
