Diagnosis. Carapace and abdomen rarely iridescent ( Fig. 115c, d, g, h View FIGURE 115 ), often with bloom or sheen ( Fig. 115a View FIGURE 115 ). Male palp with thick spiralled embolus with wedge-like tip (e.g., Fig. 116a–e View FIGURE 116 ); epigyne with large copulatory fossae; spermathecae M-shaped with long posterior duct.
Species included: Poecilipta carnarvon sp. nov., P. contorqua sp. nov., P. davidi sp. nov., P. micaelae sp. nov., P. elvis sp. nov., P. harveyi sp. nov., P. jilbadji sp. nov., P. rawlinsonae sp. nov., Supunna smaragdinea ( Simon, 1909) , P. tinda sp. nov., and P. zbigniewi sp. nov.
