Diagnosis. Males differ from those of all other Queensland species by the high process on the palpal femur, the absence of a paracymbial spine, and the abdominal pattern in both males and females: dark brown with subtle pallid areas anteriorly and small pallid fishbone pattern posteriorly.
Supplementary description of holotype male and QM S12251 View Materials . Carapace 3.11 long, 2.15 wide. Total length 6.3. Carapace: almost glabrous but pustulose; few hairs lateral of eyes and on clypeal edge; no saddle in front of fovea, at coxae II/III; striae indistinct. Chelicerae: small, vertical; fang shield small, otherwise as for genus. Sternum: intercoxal triangles on II/III; intercoxal band almost joins to carapace and sternum at III/IV; pustulose, slightly raised from margins. Legs: coxae with distinct posterior heel (inner corner); trochanters with short shallow notches; femora pustulose, very small feathery hairs evident on IV. Spines: short on tibiae I and II, ca. 1 length apart, longer and closer on metatarsi but not overlapping. I: fe pv1d2. II: fe d2; ti v2.2.2.2. III: fe p2d3r2; ti p2d2 (basal thorns)(d1) r2. IV: fe p2d3r1; ti p2d1r2. Palp: fe p1d2; pa 0; ti p2 basal long. Abdomen: covered with small black feathery hairs. Scutes: dorsal, narrow to half length; no ventral; tracheal, weakly sclerotised, transverse. Palp: femur ventrally with prominent subdistal prong directed slightly back; tibia with deep transverse groove to longitudinal ridge, and forming strong tibial edge; bulb with narrow embolic ridges and deep separate groove; sperm duct with double concave folds, sinuous then to tip; paracymbial spine absent but shallow retrobasal depression present.
Distribution. Known only from mid-eastern Queensland.
