Ancylosis delicatella ( Möschler, 1860)

Diagnosis. This species is similar to A. pallida ( Staudinger, 1870) in the male genitalia. It can be distinguished by the posterior margin of the male eighth sternum convex medially; in the male genitalia by the vinculum subparallel to slightly narrower and obtuse anterior margin ( Fig. 16 ), and in the female genitalia by the inverted elongate triangular antrum, the short ductus bursae about 1/7 the length of the corpus bursae, and the ductus seminalis arising from the corpus bursae posteriorly ( Fig. 21 ). In A. pallida , the posterior margin of the male eighth sternum is shallowly concave medially; the vinculum is distinctly narrowed to rounded anterior margin in the male genitalia; the antrum is tubular, the ductus bursae is about 1/3 the length of the corpus bursae, and the ductus seminalis arises from the ductus bursae in the female genitalia.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 8 ). Wingspan 19.0–22.5 mm.

Distribution. China (Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Xinjiang), Azerbaidjan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan ( Bidzilya 2020).

Remarks. This species is recorded from China for the first time.
