Claassen (1939) and Illies (1966) provided the above reference.The paper is before us, all it contains is " Ochthopetina caudalis Nav. Sudán egipcio [sic!], provincia de Sennaar, Ch. Alluaud, 1907". As Hynes (1952) already noted there is no description or indication that would make the name available (ICZN, Article 12). This is an unavailable nomen nudum.
