Remarks. The species was misidentified as M. cf. campanulata ( Rosa, 1890) or M. houlleti ( Perrier, 1872) in southern Vietnam. It is closely similar to M. houlleti , but different in some important traits: length (135.25± 26.23 mm vs. 78.71 ± 15.75 mm), diameter (5.11 ± 0.59 mm vs. 3.68 ± 1.06 mm), number of segment (98.82 ± 18.73 vs. 92.72 ± 14.35), seta between male pores (14.49 ± 3.29 vs. 5.22 ± 2.94), location of the first dorsal pore (11/12 or 12/13 vs. 9/10 or 10/11), and the shape of spermatheca (large mushroom-shaped vs. small ovoid), and genetics distance about 18.8% (see T. T. Nguyen et al. 2022b).
