Artbeschreibung: Wie B. carinatus , aber Stängel 3-5 mm dick, untere Rispenäste oft 8-20 cm lang, oft hängend. Blätter (5-) 10-20 mm breit. Ährchen (ohne die Grannen) oft länger als 3,5 cm. Deckspelzen meist kahl.
