Artbeschreibung: Wie T. angustifolia , aber obere Blätter am Ansatz ohne Öhrchen, allmählich in die Blattscheide verschmälert. Weiblicher Blütenstand zur Fruchtreife blassbraun ( Tragblättchen mit blassbrauner oder fast durchsichtiger Spatelspitze), 0-3(-6) cm vom männlichen getrennt.
Verbreitung global: Subtropisch
