Colona hospita Burret (1926: 805) .
Type (lectotype, designated here):— INDONESIA. Java Island, Jakarta, Bogor , Bogor Botanical Gardens , VI C.157 (L! two sheets, [ L0397713 ] and [ L0397714 ]) .
[= Colona serratifolia Cavanilles (1798: 47) ]
Burret (1926) cited the specimen VI C. 157 in B as type. Unfortunately, this specimen was destroyed during World War II (R. Vogt, pers. Comm.), but two duplicates were found in the herbarium L. However, the material in L is a duplicate mounted on two sheets marked as ‘vel.1’ and ‘vel.2’, therefore they cannot be considered separately (Art. 8.3 of the ICN). For these reasons, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, is designate here the specimens in L as a lectotype of Colona hospita .
