Type (lectotype, designated here):— PHILIPPINES. Luzon Island, Nueva Vizcaya, Dupax del Norte , 12 April 1912, McGregor 11492 (K! [ K000686939 ]; isolectotypes L! [ L2348577 ], US! [ US00098417 ]).

In the protologue, the specimen McGregor 11492 in Bureau of Science herbarium is cited as type, but the herbarium was destroyed during World War II ( Merrill 1945). Analysing McGregor’s original collection in other herbaria were found three duplicates associated with C. macgregorii in K, L, and US. Therefore, following Art. 9.3 of the ICN, is designate here the specimen K000686939 as the lectotype of C. macgregorii , by choosing the best-preserved and complete specimen.
