Columbia jagori Warburg ex Perkins (1904: 106) View in CoL
≡ Colona jagori (Warb. ex Perkins) Burret (1926: 813) .
Type:— PHILIPPINES. Luzon Island, Jagor s.n. (holotype B destroyed). Type (neotype, designated here):— PHILIPPINES. Luzon Island, Quezon, 31 August 1991, Barbon et al. 2164 (L! [ L4215119 ]).
Perkins (1904) cited the specimen Jagor s.n. in B as type of Columbia jagori . Unfortunately, the type specimen was destroyed in 1943 during World War II (R. Vogt, pers. comm.), without duplicates in other herbaria. For this reason, is designate here Barbon et al. 2164 (L) as a neotype, according to Arts. 9.8 and 9.16 of the ICN. The type selection is based on the same geographical area as the lost holotype and the morphological features agree well with those described in the protologue.
