Neotype (Heath in Calyx 4: 42. 1994): [icon] " Cotyledonoidas Afric." in Bradley, Hist. Pl. Succ. 5: 18, t. 41. 1727 (see p. 110).

Current name: Crassula tetragona L. ( Crassulaceae ).

Note: Tölken (in J. S. African Bot. 38: 78. 1972; in Leistner, Fl. Southern Africa 14: 229. 1985) treated this as insufficiently known (in the absence of type material), but Heath’s neotypification makes the name a synonym of C. tetragona L. (1753) .
