Collection information.

USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: a single individual from one site. Caught in flight trap from 2–16 June 2020.

Distribution.

Eastern North America.

Saproxylic habits.

Larvae are predators of woodboring insects in dead pine logs and stumps ( Frost 1916; Savely 1939); occupies logs throughout decomposition ( Savely 1939; Ulyshen and Hanula 2010).
