Diagnosis. Posterior margin of axilla rounded; anterior margin of scutum with surface a continuation of curvature of dorsal surface. Male. usually with plumose, long hairs on hypostomal area; usually with pubescence on clypeus; posterior margin of S5 with shallow emargination; S6 without posterior keel. Female. Apical margin of clypeus with tubercles or crenulate, never straight and smooth; present in the Americas, from southern Canada to northern Colombia.
