Gerridae View in CoL is the second richest family of semiaquatic bugs in Argentina, with 18 described species in 11 genera ( Coscarón 2017). Estévez et al. (2003) previously reported two species from INR, of which one was not collected during this study: Neogerris lubricus (White, 1879) View in CoL . During this study, we collected nine species from INR, including two new country records for Argentina: Neogerris celeris (Drake & Harris) View in CoL and Ovatametra obesa Kenaga. View in CoL Brachymetra furva Drake, 1957 View in CoL and Limnogonus aduncus aduncus Drake & Harris, 1933 View in CoL are herein first recorded from Corrientes Province.
