Description of Gottfriedia acidiceleris GM 6
Cells are Gram-staining positive and rod-shaped without flagella. Colonies are yellow, circular, convex, and transparent after 3 days of incubation on R2 A at 30℃. Positive for esculin hydrolysis and gelatinase activity. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, and β -galactosidase activity. Does not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid. Strain GM 6 (NIBRBAC000510645) was isolated from soil of Paju, Gyeonggi-do, Korea (37°14 ʹ 29.4 ʺ N 131°52 ʹ 00.9 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
