TYPE LOCALITY: Japan, Honshu .

DISTRIBUTION: Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu ( Japan).

SYNONYMS: pryerianus, saxicola.

COMMENTS: Included in sumatraensis by Haltenorth (1963: 119); but a valid species according to Dolan (1963).
