Remarks: Name proposed without description, only the locality (Cordoba, El Sauco) and the statement “sin hospedador conocido” [without known host]. Material found in MZUSP comprised of a female adult specimen, with right wing, left legs distal to trochanter glued on clear card, and each pinned separately. Female specimen missing right fore- and hindtarsus.

Nomenclatural status: Nomen nudum under Cuterebra grandis (Guérin-Méneville, 1844) teste Papavero and Guimarães (2009).
