Remarks

Español (1964) neither establishes a holotype nor the number of specimens in the type series, which, as far as we can ascertain, is deposited in its entirety in the MCNB. Specimen MZB 78-0974 has a red label hand-written by F. Español with the inscription “ Holotypus ”; the remaining specimens have red labels with the inscription “ Paratypus ”, either written by J. Comas or printed (“ Paratipo ” in the case of de MZB 78-0975). There is a discrepancy between one of the collection dates indicated by the author in his description ( 26 January 1964) and the date on the labels of the specimens deposited in the MCNB ( 19 January 1964). In the case of specimen MZB 78-0976, separated to extract its genitalia, the transcribed date is 19 January 1968 .
