Type locality

Bòfia de Sant Jaume [original citation: “ Bofia de S. Jaume , cerca de la masía llamada Boixadera dels Banchs, ya dentro de la prov. de Lérida y a unas cuatro horas y media de Berga”].

Type material

Syntypes: MZB 78-1451 / MZB 78-1453, MZB 78-2245, MZB 78-2581 / MZB 78-2583 (2 ♂♂, 5 ♀♀), type loc., 11-VII-1922, R. Zariquiey leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey).

Remarks

Type series consisting of 24 specimens, without indications regarding where they are deposited nor designation of holotype ( Zariquiey, 1922b). The seven specimens deposited in the MCNB collection have red labels with the printed inscription “Typus”, the exception being MZB 78-2245, identified as a cotype on its red hand-written label. Jeannel (1924a) reports the deposit in the Biospeologica collection of part of the type series, without stating how many specimens. Fresneda & Salgado (2016) and Fresneda et al. (2021) transcribe the labels associated with three specimens found in box 70 in the MNHNP collection, all identified as belonging to the type series. We have found in the MNCNM collection (box 17) a specimen identified as a cotype on its red label, whose collection labels are identical to most of the specimens deposited in the MCNB.
