Type locality

Cova de Guils [original citation: “Lerida: cova de Guils, à Mata Rossa, près de Guils del Cantó, au nord-ouest de Novés”].

Type material

Syntypes: MZB 70-4098, MZB 78-1310 / MZB 78-1314, MZB 78-2647 / MZB 78-2652 (5 ♂♂, 9 ♀♀), type loc., R. Zariquiey leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey) .

Remarks

Jeannel (1924a) does not specify the exact number of specimens in the type series, and indicates that it is deposited in the collections of R. Zariquiey (MCNB) and Bioespeologica (MNHNP). The specimens found in the MCNB collection have red labels with the printed inscription “ Typus ” or “Cotypus”. In the MNHNP general collection (box 73) are deposited three specimens whose labels are transcribed by Fresneda & Salgado (2016). In the MNCNM collection (box 27) we have found a specimen with the same collection data but not identified as belonging to the type series. The labels indicating the localities of origin of the specimens deposited in the three above-mentioned museums are identical.
