Type locality

Guardetxe Aurreko Leizea 1 [original citation: “Guardetxe-Aurre’ko Leizea 1, entre Usurbil y Orio, en la orilla izquierda del Oria, Guipúzcoa ”].

Type material

Holotype ♂: MZB 78-2151, type loc., 9-VII-1968, C. Galán leg.

Paratypes: MZB 78-2152 / MZB 78-2155 (11 ♀♀), MZB 71-2603 (remains 1 ♂), same data as holotype .

Remarks

Type series consisting of the ♂ holotype and 18 paratypes (4 ♂♂ and 14 ♀♀) deposited in the MCNB and SCA collections ( Español, 1970). Genitalia preserved in Canada balsam and mounted on the same pin as the holotype. Remains of a male specimen preserved in the same way with its genitalia. This material ( MZB 71-2603 ) has a label with the following inscription: [ Speocharidius / sp. n. ♂ / Guardetxe leg.] .
