Speocharis Mierensis Bolívar, 1911: 570 View in CoL ; figs. p. 571.
Current accepted name
Hypogesia minos ( Jeannel, 1909) : Fresneda et al., 2024: 517.
Type locality
Cueva de Cuerdavilloso [original citation: “ Cueva de Cuerdavilloso, Rucandio (Santander) ”].
Type material
Syntypes: MZB 78-2481 (1 ♀), type loc., C. Bolívar leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey) .
Remarks
Bolívar (1911) neither establishes the holotype, the number of specimens in the type series, nor where it is deposited. The specimen in the MCNB collection is identified as a cotype on the determination label hand-written by C. Bolívar and on another red label. Deposited in the MNCNM (box 4) there is a series of specimens headed by one identified by Bolívar as the “TIPO”. All of these specimens have subsequently been labelled as syntypes on red labels. In box 54 of the MNHNP there are at least four specimens labelled as cotypes (material examined by J. M. Salgado) .
