Type material

Paratypes: MZB 78-1037, MZB 78-1038 (1 ♂, 1 ♀), type loc., campaign VIII-1945, J. M. Thomas, R. Margalef, J. Mateu & F. Español leg.

Remarks

Español (1945) establishes as a “Tipo” (= holotype, article 73.1.1.) a male and notes “varios specimens” [various specimens] from the type locality without indicating where they are deposited. The two specimens in the MCNB collection have red labels with the inscription “ Paratypus ” hand-written by Español. The holotype (identified by a red label) is deposited in the MNCNM, together with three specimens from Cueva de Basolo , two more from Sima de Leizeta ( Español, 1945) , all with a collection date of 18 August 1945, and probably two other paratypes that are not identified as such.
