Type material

Holotype: MZB 78-2156 (1 ♂), type loc., 11-VIII-1928, M. Báguena leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey).

Remarks

Male holotype, originally designated as “Type”, fixed by monotypy (Article 73.1.2.). Consists of the remains of a specimen in Zariquiey’s collection, with no appendices except the femur and tibia of the hind right leg, as described by Jeannel (1930). Español (1965c) indicated that this specimen would probably be deposited in Jeannel’s collection.
