Type locality

Cueva Negra [original citation: “Province de Valencia: cueva Negra, prês de Montanejos ”] .

Type material

Syntypes: MZB 78-2157 (1 ♀), type loc., 10-I-1930, R. Zariquiey leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey).

Remarks

Type series consisting of four females according to Jeannel (1930), who does not state where they are deposited. Two specimens of the type series have been located in the MNHNP’s general collection (box 52). Both are identified with the printed inscription “ TYPE ”, one in black letters on a red label and the other in red letters on a white label, as in the case of MZB 78-2157. These three specimens all have identical collection labels.
