Taxonomy: Boulard (2003b) transferred this species to Macrosemia from Platylomia . Material Examined: AFSC – Wiang Papao, Chiang Rai.
Distribution: Thailand, Vietnam, Indochina and China (Metcalf, 1963a; Duffels and van der Laan, 1985).
