Subfamily Xanthinae MacLeay, 1838

Although Mendoza et al. (2022) transferred some genera to the subfamily Etisinae Ortmann, 1893 ( Leptodius A. Milne-Edwards, 1863, Neoxanthias Ward, 1932 , Xanthias Rathbun, 1897 , Xanthodius Stimpson, 1859 and Williamstimpsonia Števčić, 2011 ), the classification followed here is that of Poore & Ahyong (2023), which is also used in DecaNet (2025).
