Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Sha’ab, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; occasional (11%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, dead corals, pebble, shells, sponges, and Sargassum spp.
