Comments. Record of Bruchidius martinezi (Allard, 1868) from Lorestan province by Borowiec (1987b) is uncertain and concerned another unidentified taxon of Bruchidius varius group ( L. Borowiec's comment). True B. martinezi occurs only in the southwestern part of Mediterranean basin ( France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia) ( Anton 2010).
