Province of Jujuy, Calilegua, 4.VI.2007, Guilbert & Montemayor coll. 2 ♂♂, 1 ♀ ( MNHN); 1 ♂, 1 ♀ ( MLP). — Province of Jujuy, Calilegua, 10.VI.2007, Guilbert & Montemayor coll., 1 ♀ ( MNHN); 1 ♂, 1 ♀ ( MLP). — Province of Salta, cerca Los Naranjos , 9.VI.2007, Guilbert & Montemayor coll., 1 ♂ ( MLP) .

DISTRIBUTION. — Argentina (Jujuy) , Brazil, Paraguay. Carvalhotingis hollandi previously known from Jujuy, is reported for the first time from Salta.

HOST PLANTS. — Bignoniaceae ( Drake & Hambleton 1938: 46; Drake & Ruhoff 1965: 58).
