Remarks. Leiopus asperipennis was described from Chile and Alcathousites chaclacayoi from Peru. Currently, Xenocona asperipennis is known from Peru and Chile ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). In Ecuador, it is very common at mid to high elevations.
