Type-species: Teutoniomyia plaumanni Hennig, 1952 (monotypic)
Note: Hennig (1952) entered “(Fam. Sciomyzidae ?)” after “ Teutoniomyia novum genus.” He noted the absence of preapical tibial setae, commented on other characters, and compared Teutoniomyia to the Chamaemyiidae .
