Diagnosis. This species resembles L. decidua in having a pair of ventromedially directed ventral pygofer processes and the aedeagal shaft relatively slender and compressed, but is readily distinguishable by its sinuate shape and the absence of paired processes.
Description. Body length of male 5.7–6.1 mm, female 6.5–6.6 mm. Head in dorsal view with crown no longer medially than next to eye, 2.2× wider at base than medial length. Male pygofer ~3× longer than maximum height, with short, acute, heavily sclerotized ventral process near midlength extended slightly basomesad. Subgenital plate extended slightly beyond midlength of pygofer. Style relatively short, preapical lobe broadly rounded, apex tapered evenly curved laterad. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme relatively short and broad in lateral view with quadrate anterior keel, shaft slender, strongly compresed, curved dorsad from base then slightly sinuate in lateral view, apex evenly tapered, gonopore on posterior surface near midlength. Female sternite VII approximately as long as wide, lateral margins convexly tapered, posterior margin with broad median lobe slightly indented in middle and with submarginal arcuate brown macula
Etymology. The species name refers to the strongly compressed aedeagal shaft.
