Diagnosis. This species differs from all other species of the genus in its much smaller body size and robust aedeagus with paired, recurved lateral processes at the apex.

Description. Body length of male 4.5 mm, female 5.2–5.3 mm. Head in dorsal view with crown distinctly longer medially than next to eye, 1.7× wider at base than medial length. Male pygofer ~2.8× longer than maximum height, ventral spine well developed, extended basomesad and slightly dorsad. Subgenital plate extended slightly beyond midlength of pygofer, laterally convex basal section much shorter than concave distal section. Style moderately long, preapical lobe weakly developed, apex tapered, digitiform, curved laterad. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme broad in lateral view, tapered dorsad; shaft robust, curved slightly dorsad, with low dorsal hump near midlength in lateral view, lateral margins broadly convex in ventral view, with pair of tapered apical processes extended lateroventrad and curved anterad apically, gonopore apical. Female sternite VII approximately as long as wide, posterior margin distinctly trilobed with relatively long, narrow median lobe flanked by pair of shorter, acutely angulate lateral lobes.

Etymology. The species name refers to the robust aedeagal shaft.
