( Figures 1J View FIGURE 1 , 5A–D View FIGURE 5 , 7A–D, L View FIGURE 7 )

Diagnosis. This species resembles L. tridentata in the structure of the genital capsule and in having the style apex enlarged and footlike but is easily distinguished by the aedeagus with a single dorsal spine near the base of the shaft and by the arcuate and dorsally serrate shaft apex.

Description. Body length of male 5.5–6.1 mm, female 7.1 mm. Head in dorsal view with crown slightly longer medially than next to eye, 1.6× wider at base than medial length. Male pygofer ~3.5× longer than maximum height, without ventral spine. Style moderately robuse, preapical lobe prominent, apex footlike with toothed mesal heel and broad, tapered lateral toe. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme moderately long, slender, forming acute angle with dorsal margin of shaft; shaft compressed, tapered in lateral view, straight through most of length, with short, compressed, marginally serrate arcuate distal process; gonopore preapical on dorsal surface. Female sternite VII wider than long, lateral margins convexly tapered in posterior half, posterior margin convex with narrow median lobe marked with dark brown.

Etymology. The species name refers to the serrate distal process of the aedeagus.
